comment: Larry accidentally began playing the drum beat of Out Of Control during Vertigo's intro. Elevation was played in honour of the Chicago Blackhawks, who a few days previously won the Stanley Cup at this very venue. Pride contained a passionate reference to the recent tragic racially-motivated massacre in Charleston, South Carolina. At the end of Beautiful Day, Bono spoke of the successful Irish referendum for marriage equality before the snippet of I Remember You. Mick Jagger, Chris Rock, and Paul McGuinness were all in attendance and Bono acknowledged them before I Still Haven't Found.

A large group of audience members were invited on stage during Streets, and they remained there for I Still Haven't Found.

Former U2 manager Paul McGuinness: Cracking crime on the Côte d’Azur

Paul McGuinness has turned to TV, joining forces with John Banville and Neil Jordan to make a crime series based on the French Riviera

Thirty-seven years ago, when Paul McGuinness signed a virtually unknown teen rock band called U2, he was also interested in making movies. After dropping out of Trinity College Dublin, he’d worked on John Boorman’s classic film Zardoz and made television commercials.

comment: Tour debuts of Volcano and Ordinary Love. Edge has piano problems before Every Breaking Wave so Bono fills time by talking to the crowd. He promises one fan that The Crystal Ballroom will be performed by the end of the tour, and talks about his joy in Ireland's successful referendum for marriage equality after spotting a "Lesbians for Bono" sign ("Bono is for lesbians!" he replies). He then pulled an Elvis Presley impersonator on stage, who sang part of Can't Help Falling in Love and led the audience in singing the title line.
