U2 are about to rock New Zealand

U2 are sure to play their Kiwi-inspired hit One Tree Hill at their Mt Smart Stadium gigs on Thursday and Friday.
But no one's sure which Auckland suburb the supergroup will be based in for their whirlwind New Zealand stopover.
U2 fan forum sites and Twitter are teeming with rumours of the Irish band's plans for their trip down under.
One has them staying on Waiheke Island, possibly at Mainfreight founder Bruce Plested's luxury lodge, which has hosted a number of touring musicians including the Pussycat Dolls.
But neither the band's record company nor the touring company say they have any clue yet about what U2 have lined up for their time in the City of Sails.
"I can only guess that they will be spending time lying low, but we are completely in the dark to be honest," said Justin Warren from Universal Music.
The last time the Irish band were in New Zealand they spent a couple of nights on Great Mercury Island, owned by Sir Michael Fay, before being choppered into Mt Smart Stadium each night for their two shows.
The private island, which features two luxurious residences, can be hired for about $20,000 per day.
The U2 360 tour is the biggest production to ever come to New Zealand. More than 50,000 tickets were sold in less than one hour for the first show.
Construction of the 360-degree stage got under way late this week, with the main work starting this morning.
The stage is about a third of the way down the stadium and allows the band to perform all the way around it.
Six 747 planes and over 70 shipping containers were used to transport the set to New Zealand.
"The band really like it here... and they thought `if we're doing the show, we're doing the same everywhere,"' said production director Jake Berry.
The set contains 14 cameras – double the usual number for a stage show.
