Hamish Hamilton: U2 - Multi camera Directing

It’s one of the most well known and universally loved pieces of video in U2 lore: The moving camera shot at the beginning of “Streets” on the Elevation: Live from Boston video. It required coordination with fire marshalls, NBC-TV, and a last-minute move to get a fan off the stage. Here’s director Hamish Hamilton explaining how it all came to happen so perfectly:
