U2 tickets could be re-sold on open market

Organisers expect hundreds of U2 tickets to be re-sold on the open market after the Cape Town concert sold out.

The Irish rockers will be performing at Cape Town Stadium on 18 February next year. But organisers expect some tickets will change hands a couple of times prior to the performance.

Organisers
said there is very little they can do if fans re-sell their tickets. About 63,000 tickets for the Mother City concert were snapped up in six days.

Big Concerts said some people make huge profits from die-hard fans desperate to secure a spot.

Organisers
also indicated they are considering squeezing in additional seats.
They have promised they will alert fans, should more tickets becoming available.
